Vegas runs year-round. At any given time there are Sphere residencies, Cirque du Soleil shows, headliner residencies at the Colosseum and Dolby Live, and Raiders or Golden Knights games in season. Check the timeline above for specific dates — Sphere shows and major events book out weeks to months in advance.
What is the best weekend to visit Las Vegas in 2026?

It depends on what you're after. For a Sphere experience: check the current residency dates. For sports: Raiders home games (September–January) and March Madness sportsbook weekends. For pool parties: Memorial Day through Labor Day. For value: mid-January (post-CES) and mid-September. For events: NYE, July 4th, and F1 Grand Prix are the marquee weekends.
How far in advance should I book for Vegas events?

Sphere shows: 2–4 weeks minimum, major residencies sell out months ahead. Raiders games: 1–2 weeks for most games, marquee matchups (Chiefs, Bills) sell out earlier. Holiday weekends (NYE, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day): 4–8 weeks for hotels. CES/SEMA/NAB: 2–3 months for hotels within walking distance of the convention center.
