Best North Strip Hotels in Las Vegas (2026)
North Strip is where Vegas gets quieter and more premium. Wynn and Encore anchor this zone with the best rooms, nightlife (XS, Encore Beach Club), and dining on the Strip. Resorts World brought a modern megaresort to the north end. If you value room quality and on-property experience over walkability to Center Strip, North Strip is the play.
Treasure Island - TI Las Vegas
One of the few Strip resorts that still offers free self-parking, with a north-center Strip location.
Wynn Las Vegas
Steve Wynn's flagship — five-star service, immaculate aesthetics, and arguably the most consistently luxurious experience on the Strip.
Encore at Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn's sister property — slightly newer, slightly louder, home to Encore Beach Club and a more party-oriented vibe.
Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World
The newest luxury complex on the Strip until Fontainebleau — three Hilton brands under one roof, with Vegas Loop access.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas
Las Vegas's tallest building (excluding the Strat tower) — 67 stories, ~3,600 rooms, finally opened in late 2023 after a 14-year saga.
SAHARA Las Vegas
The reborn Sahara — historic Vegas (1952) reopened in 2014 as a north-Strip mid-range with Latin/Spanish design influences.
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
The 1,149-foot observation tower with thrill rides on top — the northernmost Strip resort and a budget-friendly tower stay.
Circus Circus Las Vegas
The kid-first Vegas resort — free circus acts, the Adventuredome theme park, and free self-parking.
North Strip Hotels FAQ
What hotels are on the North Strip?
The North Strip includes Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, Resorts World Las Vegas, Treasure Island, Circus Circus, and SLS Las Vegas (now Sahara). Wynn/Encore is the dominant luxury anchor, with Resorts World (opened 2021) adding a modern three-hotel complex.
Is North Strip too far from the action?
It depends on your trip style. Wynn and Encore are a 15-20 minute walk to Venetian (Center Strip) and have enough on-property dining and nightlife to fill an entire trip. If your plan is restaurant-hopping across the Strip, Center Strip is more convenient. But for a luxury hotel-centric trip, North Strip offers the best room product.
Is Resorts World worth staying at?
Resorts World offers three hotels under one roof (Hilton, Conrad, Crockfords) with modern rooms, solid dining, and Zouk Nightclub. It is the newest megaresort on the Strip and offers competitive rates for the quality. The tradeoff is that it sits at the far north end — plan on rideshares for Center Strip destinations.
