The Vdara option: We love Vdara for a nice couple’s retreat. It doesn’t have a casino or much beyond beautiful rooms, but it’s close to Bellagio & Aria which combine to have everything you could want. It’s non-smoking & much more relaxed than many of the other casino resorts on the strip.

Resorts World is the newest property on the strip & is absolutely stunning! The only knock for us (and why it’s lower than some of the other resorts on this list) is the location at the far north of the strip. Here’s why we love Resorts World Las Vegas:

Honorable Mention: Bellagio Las Vegas

Known for its iconic fountain show, Bellagio offers elegant accommodations, fine dining options, a renowned art gallery, and a luxurious spa. It’s a popular choice for those seeking a sophisticated and upscale experience.

While it’s iconic & a must visit on every trip, it is not my favorite place to stay. It has a very touristy feel at times & because of the must-see attractions like the Fountains & Conservatory, it can be a little more busy than many of the other luxury properties. In addition, I don’t believe most rooms stand up to the other hotels on this list.

That said, Bellagio is a classic & still a great place to stay. Here’s what we love about it:

Honorable Mention: Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Everything we said about Bellagio rings true for Caesars Palace. We love it, but it’s just a rung down from some of the other luxury properties. That said, Caesars has everything you want in a Vegas property & you’ll likely visit it on every trip. It has great clubs, amazing dinning experiences, & some of the best shopping on the strip.

We can’t rate Fontainebleau yet, but this hotel is coming to the strip in a few short months in the fall of 2023. We LOVE the Fontainebleau Miami & we are hearing amazing things about the Vegas reboot.
